Finally got round to cleaning Elysion who's been swimming in Simple Green far longer than Achilles had.

Suama Cleaning and De-hairing
I have a Monster High CA Cupid, renamed Suama, sitting around for a while now, waiting for my hopeful ventures in modding. I decided to clean her while I'm still unsure what my gameplan for Achilles is.
I must admit, I know nothing of the Monster High franchise, only that the mods of BJD Questions mentioned they were great practice for those who want do to customizations they don't want to carry out on BJDs (ever or just yet).
Although honestly, MH modding isn't a precursor to BJD modding. Customized MH dolls in themselves are amazing works of art, as evidenced of the Monster High Custom tag on Tumblr.
But since I do want to be comfortable with modding for when I get a BJD, here's the first step of a long-ish process!

Achilles Cleaning Process
Hello!
For my first ever post, I'll be relating how I cleaned my second LBX, Achilles. All his blue parts had been done over with gold paint marker, and a few other parts with silver.
Here he is before the cleaning.
Why did I paint him in the first place? Well, I'd seen other LBX owners paint their own kits in different color schemes, and I thought a gold-red one suited him. I still think it does, but I'd decided I wanted him back in his original colors, along with other mods I soon intend to do to make him resemble his beautiful box art.
