Paris Portrait

I've been busy for the past week finishing my 11 months overdue (yikes!) wedding gift for my sister. Decided it would be a housewarming gift instead (along with another scenery I haven't started on yet) for when their condo units gets completed in 2015.

Can you guess what it is?

Started the project summer of 2012. Until then, I hadn't cross stitched anything save from that place-mat project in 4th Grade. Pattern was Ann Logan's Eiffel Tower.

I admit, the aida's gotten rather dirty from neglect. The sky was the most tedious bit. Blue bits combined, it was well over 10,000 stitches. I had stalled finishing this one due to numerous valid and non-valid excuses, among them laziness, my CPE classes, completing cross stitched Christmas gifts for my parents and the We Love Kuroko contribution I sent to Fujimaki Tadatoshi.

Whether or not this reached Shueisha will forever be a mystery to me. Ah well.

All in all, thank fuck I'm done! Not exactly sure when I'll start the next landscape, but at least for now I can get back to painting and reassembling Elysion before my MA classes get too busy.
